Location: Gainesville, FL

Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Rotating Weekends

Compensation:

• 2 Years of Experience: $30.69/hour

• 5 Years of Experience: $33.71/hour

• 17+ Years of Experience: $43.20/hour

Shift Differentials:

• Nights: $4.25/hour

• Weekends: $3.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: 20,000, Relocation Assistance: 2,500 - $5,000 (for candidates 100+ miles away)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pulmonary team in Gainesville, FL. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with pulmonary conditions in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and assess comprehensive data relevant to the patient's health status.

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments.

• Advocate for patient safety and promote efficient use of resources.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality care aligned with the unit’s patient-centered model.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).

• Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License (required).

• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

• Certifications:

  • BLS required before start date.

  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Gainesville (less than 60 minutes).

• In-person interviews, including a shadow session and facility tour, are mandatory for consideration.
