The Risk Operations Department at BILL is dedicated to reducing fraud and credit loss across our suite of financial products. We support frontline operations across broader Risk Ops, including fraud prevention, transaction review, underwriting, and collections. We are committed to continuous improvement and are seeking a dynamic leader to drive learning, development, and quality assurance/control (QA/QC) across our operational teams.
As the Supervisor, Risk Quality Assurance, you will directly manage the QA operations and lead a team of QA Analysts responsible for evaluating performance, ensuring process adherence, and driving quality standards across Risk Operations. The QA function sits within our Learning and Development (L&D) organization, offering continuous opportunities to contribute to L&D initiatives in addition to core QA responsibilities. Your work will directly support Collections, Fraud Operations, and other Risk Ops functions, playing a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Leadership
- Manage day-to-day performance of QA team members, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to drive excellence and engagement.
- Establish and monitor QA performance metrics aligned with compliance, accuracy, and customer experience goals.
- Lead QA calibration sessions and reporting cycles, identifying performance trends and implementing remediation and improvement plans.
- Continuously refine QA frameworks, scorecards, and evaluation methodologies to maintain alignment with business priorities and regulatory standards.
Program Oversight & Reporting
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on quality trends, root causes, and areas of opportunity across Risk Operations.
- Partner with key stakeholders to translate QA findings into actionable initiatives that improve performance, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure QA results are integrated into broader operational and strategic decision-making.
Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
- Drive the evolution of a centralized knowledge base to support accuracy, decision quality, and self-service learning across Risk Ops.
- Curate and maintain content (articles, guides, videos) that reinforce key processes, reduce error rates, and support operational readiness.
- Collaborate closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team to ensure QA insights directly inform training, onboarding, and enablement strategies.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure QA programs reflect evolving policies, product changes, and regulatory expectations.
- Represent QA in cross-functional forums to advocate for quality standards, influence process design, and support organizational improvement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging control requirements to ensure the QA program remains forward-looking and compliant.
