Commercial Construction Superintendent (Night Shift)

Kalos Services is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent (Night Shift) to lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects during overnight hours. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who is comfortable managing crews and operations at night. The ideal candidate will coordinate with the assigned project manager, manage schedules, assign tasks, ensure compliance with contractual safety standards and customer-specific requirements, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.

Our Foremen are hands-on leaders—organized, proactive, and skilled in overseeing nightly job site operations. This includes problem-solving, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining job site cleanliness and organization, and driving team productivity.

This is a night shift position, and candidates must be willing and able to work during overnight hours to support our project timelines and deliver exceptional results.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly 

Responsibilities:

• Begin with a site inspection at 8:30 PM.
• Prepare the site for work by managing access control to laydown area gates, Conex areas and any other access controlled construction areas.
• Meet with team leads to discuss the nightly SOW and distribute badges.
• Conduct toolbox talks when applicable, distribute badges, ensure all workers are adhering to the job specific compliance requirements and oversee general team setup.
• Ensure compliance with all Kalos and customer-specific project requirements for conducting work activities, work performance and work quality.
• Regularly monitor site activities, laydown areas, and progress.
• Take and share progress photos via designated channels.
• Ensure all trades provide a shift completion update, check-out with the superintendent prior to leaving the job site and follow all project specific requirements regarding end of shift cleanliness, safety, compliance and accessibility.
• Transition responsibilities to the day superintendent through a joint morning walk-through and on site meeting.
• Prepare for and attend any required project meetings with the customer or necessary teams.
• Any other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

•  Minimum of 3 years as a Construction Forman on commercial projects.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling software, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction software.
• Ability to perform take-offs and use measurement tools.
• Basic tool knowledge and understanding of construction techniques, and sequences.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and teach teams.
• Familiarity with Orlando-area construction codes and regulations is a plus.
• Commitment to punctuality, accountability, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Travel Requirement:

This position requires flexibility to travel to various project locations based on company and client needs. The work site may change depending on project demands, and team members must be available to relocate or travel to where the work is located. While we will make every effort to inform you of changes in advance, the ability to accept assigned job site locations is a condition of employment.
