Position Summary
KIND seeks a Administrative Officer responsible for providing support in the day-to-day operational needs for KIND’s staff. The incumbent will be supporting, improving, and assisting in developing new operational systems, processes, and functions in support of staff based in the U.S. and internationally. The Administrative Officer will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Office Operations.
This is a remote position based from any location in the U.S.
This position is contingent upon continued funding.

Position Summary
KIND seeks a Administrative Officer responsible for providing support in the day-to-day operational needs for KIND’s staff. The incumbent will be supporting, improving, and assisting in developing new operational systems, processes, and functions in support of staff based in the U.S. and internationally. The Administrative Officer will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Office Operations.

Essential Functions
- Actions procurements that support the daily operations of KIND staff and facilities, including the issuance of supplies, equipment, and furniture to all KIND locations.
- Provides onsite support at KIND’s Headquarters office by collecting mail, maintaining supply inventory and overall office upkeep/tidiness.
- Supports the Senior Manager, Workplace Office Operations with organization-wide projects, including but not limited to initiatives that facilitate the organization’s continued growth, improve the team’s response to emergency projects, and/or refine general operations and administrative efficiencies.
- Manages and regularly updates internal databases, file repositories, and record-keeping systems.
- Provides crucial assistance and coverage for both the administrative officer as well as the Administrative Operations Specialist.
- Provides support in coordinating and planning logistics pertaining to facilities procurement, moves, and setups of new offices.
- Assists the Office Operations Team with calendaring meetings, booking travel, reserving meeting space, notetaking, and support logistics for events.
- Assists with the reconciliation of monthly credit card statements and receipt management for the team.
- Develops proficiency and clear understanding in the use and maintenance of office systems, equipment, and technology, and assists staff as needed.
- Provides general operations support and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with 1 year of relevant experience; or high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Must be fluent in English.
- Minimum of 2 years of collective experience; experience performing administrative office duties preferred.
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally with a variety of stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (such as Teams, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our KIND environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
- Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Committed to practicing and supporting wellbeing and a work-home life balance.
- Experience working and communicating in a remote environment preferred but not required.
