The Senior Specialist for E-Mobility Tech, Design & Tools is responsible for maintaining data and developing insights that support superior operational efficiency for Con Edisons E-Mobility programs. The Senior Specialist will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory data reporting requirements for E-Mobility programs
Maintaining and managing regulatory deadlines
Building dashboards and reports related to regulatory data reporting requirements and collaborate with Digital Products were needed
Maintaining usage data from third-party contractors and electric vehicle station equipment (EVSE) networks, and reporting on this data on a regular basis in collaboration with Digital Products
Core Responsibilities- The Senior Specialist for E-Mobility Tech, Design & Tools is responsible for ensuring that infrastructure and operational incentive program teams comply with regulatory data reporting requirements, particularly related to third-party data and developing data visualization dashboards (i.e. PowerBI) to support internal reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Support multiple program teams to ensure that Con Edisons E-Mobility incentive programs, including EV charging, micromobility charging, and operating cost relief programs, are compliant with all Public Service Commission data reporting requirements
- Work across program team and collaborate with Digital Products to develop processes and procedures around data acquisition, data integrity, compliance, and internal & external data reporting
- Act as primary liaison with the Companys third-party data aggregator for infrastructure incentive programs that require usage data reporting on all installed projects
- Communicate with program participants and third-party aggregators to validate data
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Digital Products, to identify gaps in data collection processes or tools and identify solutions
- Support implementation of improvements to E-Mobility platform functionality to take in and report on third-party data
- Lead data upload cycle with third-party data aggregator for the infrastructure incentive programs
- Create monthly and semi-annual/annual reporting for the Companys EV operational cost relief incentive programs to internal and regulatory stakeholders
- May support EV operational cost relief incentive program QA/QC functions and data standardization initiatives
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor regulatory compliance; provide meaningful reporting to internal stakeholders on a regular basis
- Support cross-functional technology and business communications and collaboration between multiple Con Edison organizations
- Work effectively and lead cross-functional teams responsible for new department initiatives as they arise
- Support problem solving and strategic support related to platforms and tools for the department.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of work experience
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 3 years utility or other business work experience building tools and reports Experience with creation of dashboards, reports and analytical reporting is a plus.
- Master's Degree Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 2 years utility or other business work experience building tools and reports Experience with creation of dashboards, reports and analytical reporting is a plus.
- Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, required.
- Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches in order to drive business results, required.
