Endpoint is looking for a Senior Data Scientist who finds innovative solutions to challenging business problems facing the organization. Ideal candidate will be a problem solver that finds joy in learning, experimenting, and building solutions in a fast-moving environment. Each problem is unique, and the ability to analyze a problem, research potential solutions, and build a solution to deliver measurable impact to the business will be key to your success. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will use your skills to:
- Lead technical projects to identify, model and measure critical optimization/automation opportunities to ‘make home closing easy for all’
- Develop rigorous analyses using statistical models while working collaboratively with partners to identify high-impact opportunities related to process optimization and business value
- Help develop tools and other reusable components related to data preparation and modeling
- Develop and evaluate predictive models, weighing the costs and benefits of each potential approach and their business impacts
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to break down, understand, and solve some of the most complex analytical problems facing our business
- Deliver real-time insights that enable our stakeholders to make strategic and data-driven decisions
- Regularly present findings and solutions internally at meetings to stakeholders to iterate and generate excitement on roadmap progress
You'll come to Endpoint with:
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
- 5+ years professional experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role turning data into insights and recommendations
- Comfort to collaborate with software and data engineers to understand complex systems and abstracted logs
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively to audiences of varying technical levels
- Proficient at performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
- Strong fluency in Python or R for hands-on work and advanced data analysis in SQL at scale
- Experience with quantitative analysis techniques, including one of the following: clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics
- Experience with process mining techniques to discover, validate and improve workflows (preferred)

- We offer competitive compensation; Base pay is one part of your total compensation package in addition to annual bonus. This role pays between $145,000 and $185,000 and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience. We also offer a long-term incentive plan.
