Summary 

DLA Piper is seeking an entry-level associate with a demonstrated interest in transactional work to join its Corporate group in our San Juan officeYou will have the opportunity to support causes that impact our clients and better our communities through the firm’s commitment to pro bono. 

 

Education 

  • JD 

 

Bar Admission 

  • Admitted to practice in Puerto Rico 

  • Licensed and in good standing notary public 

 

Responsibilities 

Your day will involve acting as the lawyer primarily responsible for overseeing diligence on M&A and other transactions, and also representing clients in connection with daily matters including drafting, revising and negotiating commercial contracts.  Strong performance in these roles can lead to other varied experiences within the practice that will add to your skill set and build your base of client work. 

 

Experience 

  • Banking and/or Real Estate experience preferred.
