Analytica is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Chief Growth Officer to lead and expand our presence in the federal civilian marketplace. As part of a rapidly scaling professional services firm, the CGO is a pivotal leader driving profitable revenue growth, expanding business partnerships, acquiring strategic contracts, and enhancing the company's competitive position in both current and emerging markets. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in the government contracting space, capable of aligning growth initiatives with corporate goals while fostering innovation and excellence.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site at the Bethesda, MD office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy focused on government contracting opportunities.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and identifying and implementing strategies leading to the submission of proposals with a high win probability.
- Target high-impact agencies such as DHS, SEC, CFPB, CFTC, IRS, Treasury, CMS, HHS, and other federal civilian entities.
- Identify emerging trends and align business offerings to meet government needs.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set annual and long-term growth targets.
Business Development and Capture Management
- Lead business development efforts to identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities.
- Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and capture activities for government contracts.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities across federal, state, and local markets..
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate relationships with key government clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Champion strategic partner, customer, and employee relations which promote value-based business development and external revenue growth.
- Represent the organization at industry events, government forums, and networking opportunities.
Partnerships and Alliances
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with other contractors, small businesses, and suppliers.
- Negotiate teaming agreements and subcontracting opportunities to expand market reach.
Leadership and Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing growth team, including business development, capture, and proposal professionals.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure effective performance and career progression.
Market Intelligence and Analysis
- Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to position the organization effectively.
- Provide insights into legislative, regulatory, and budgetary changes affecting government contracting.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
- Establish and track KPIs to measure growth initiatives’ success.
- Report on growth strategies, pipeline status, and revenue targets to the board and executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategy, or leadership roles within the government contracting sector.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maturing growth organizations within companies with a revenue of more than $50M and achieving recurring double digit revenue growth rates.
- Proven track record of securing government contracts and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, including FAR, DFAR, and other compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS, BPA, and IDIQs.
- Experience with small business or set-aside programs (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB).
- Technical understanding of solutions in IT, Data & Analytics or other government-focus areas.
- Strong network within federal agencies, prime contractors, and government clients.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
