Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Sonographer – Full-Time – Nights (Thursday–Sunday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM)

• Location: Tallahassee, FL
• Salary: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000

• Shift: Nights with Rotating Weekends
• On-Call: Yes (rotating schedule)

Overview

A regional acute care hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Sonographer to join its diagnostic imaging team. The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician supervision and is an essential part of the patient care and imaging services team, providing quality sonographic images and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging in accordance with physician orders

• Provide patient care and safety during imaging procedures

• Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and documentation

• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and the imaging team

• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• 3–6 months of sonography experience required (acute care experience not required)

• Certificate or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound required

• BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

• ARDMS or ARRT (S) registration required

• RVT, RVS, or Vascular Sonography certification required within 1 year of hire

• Positive attitude, motivated, and self-starter
