Compensation:        $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

 

The Associate AI Solutions Engineer on the AI Product & Engineering team contributes to the development of AI-powered Marketplace solutions tailored for the OneStream platform. This entry-level role focuses on learning and applying AI and software engineering techniques to solve business problems while gaining exposure to commercial product development. The role requires foundational knowledge of modern software design principles and a growing understanding of UX/UI best practices. Collaboration with experienced engineers, product specialists, and services teams is essential to support product development, maintain product cycles, and drive continuous improvements.

The AI Product and Engineering team is focused on bridging the gap between AI research and AI products, bringing tangible and quantifiable value to our end users. Our AI solutions incorporate AI and machine learning spectrum, including (but not limited to) time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing. Our mission is to lower the barrier for organizations and people to get value out of AI capabilities.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code that is efficient, reusable, and follows modern software design principles.
• Contribute to the development and performance optimization of AI Services solutions.
• Identify and help resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Support code quality efforts by following best practices and participating in code reviews.
• Document software bugs, enhancements, and story tickets in an issue-tracking system.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists to support development efforts.
• Participate in UI/UX design discussions at the start of a release cycle.
• Continuously learn new technologies and best practices in AI and software engineering. 

 

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in CS/DS/EE/CE or similar work experience.

• 0-2 years of object-oriented programming experience.
• 0-2 years of experience with one of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java.
• Experience with relational databases.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies.
• Introductory knowledge of AI systems, algorithms, and subdomains (e.g., time-series, classification, clustering, anomaly detection).
• Exposure to Consolidation Software such as OneStream, HFM, SAP BOFC, SAP, IBM Cognos, etc.
• Recent coursework, projects, or professional experience focusing on Microsoft technologies.
