WildBrain Studios is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team!

We are looking for someone who is incredibly organized and calm under pressure, passionate about the details, highly communicative and excited about joining a talented team of industry professionals working to create some of the best quality kids’ content in the business! This role will report to the Producer.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

What You’ll Do:  

• Provide support for Coordinators, Production Manager, Producer, Associate Producer and Supervisors as needed
  
• Take notes in meetings as needed and ensure key instructions are carried through
  
• Effectively listen to, understand, and follow directions
  
• Prioritize and plan own work effectively to meet objectives
  
• Participate in production meetings and readily modify, respond to, and integrate changes as requested by the Producer, Associate Producer and/or Production Manager
  
• Assist and complete any other production-related assignments as they arise
    

 What you’ll Bring: 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel such as basic formulas, formatting spreadsheets into presentable formats, exporting data from Excel to other formats, linking workbooks, sorting data for analysis, copying and pasting data sets between workbooks, and a strong ability to create and interpret reports
  
• Knowledge and/or experience in Flow (formerly ShotGrid/Shotgun) is an asset
  
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills (both verbal and written)
  
• Detail orientation and strong organizational skills
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  
• Ability to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure
  
• Must be open to direction and able to embrace change
  
• Previous production or administrative experience an asset
  

 

This is a Union position and the terms and conditions of employment are covered by a collective agreement. 

Why WildBrain

Pay Range: $920 - $1000 per week based on a 40-hour work week. 
 
Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role. We also take into consideration the experience and skills that individual brings, with consideration of our internal equity.
