About the role

The trainee will be part of Nokia Digital Office End User service team and support the definition development and implementation of workflow automations. This includes new developments as well as routine or standard tasks under guidance of your supervisor.

Part of the work will be carried out according to procedures, innovation work will be carried out within the Nokia guidelines and under supervision and coaching from supervisors or peers. The role includes gathering of relevant information to support problem solving and decision making.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Portugal

• Performs routine assignments within standardized procedures and practices with regular supervision to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others and uses own knowledge and existing procedures to solve standard problems

• Takes over responsibility for defined project tasks

You are:

  • a Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, or similar area
  • proficient in English
  • curious to take on new challenges
  • a good communicator

You have:

  • English on a fluent level (both written and spoken)
  • basic knowledge about software development
  • knowledge on common programming language
  • skill in using Office application (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

It would be nice if you also had:

  • initial exposure to business process analysis
  • exposure to software testing and trouble shooting
  • documentation and the development of user guides
