Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Occupational Therapy Aide to join our team at Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center in Dumfries, VA! In this unique role, you will provide care to active-duty military members and their families — offering the chance to serve those who serve our nation, without the requirements of military service. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants in providing client care
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and supplies
• Observe clients during therapy sessions and report observations to the therapist
• Facilitate client participation in activities of daily living
• Document clients' progress and assist in developing treatment plans
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining client records
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• BLS/CPR certification
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and techniques
• Ability to lift and transfer clients
• Previous experience as an OT Aide or in a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional client care
