Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities

We are a leading and innovative provider of corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and reporting services (scopes 1+2+3), delivered by a global team of over 200 practitioners and led by industry-recognized experts. We offer the first credible GHG inventory software platform, Anthesis RouteZero, that accelerates decarbonization and is informed by our experience in delivering over 4,000 inventories globally. We have a track record in successfully addressing cutting-edge issues, including the calculation of supply chain and other scope 3 emissions. We have deep connections and partnerships with NGOs and other standard-setting organizations that help shape the corporate accounting field. And we offer complementary advisory services that support our clients throughout their net zero journey, in such areas as climate action plan development, carbon markets, renewable energy, climate risk and ESG strategy. 

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Director to support our growing GHG Accounting service in North America. Your role will be client-facing and you will lead business development efforts and projects to create GHG inventories. Working with other climate management SMEs and product and engineering teams, you will infuse your technical knowledge and project experience into the further evolution of Anthesis RouteZero. Your projects and clients may span a diverse set of industries, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to boutique brands and start-ups. You will leverage our service teams and subject matter experts to ensure clients receive our best solutions and technical advice. And you will be joining an engaged, collaborative community that approaches its work with energy and optimism.


Key Responsibilities: 
  • As a senior subject matter expert, provide supervision, guidance and technical leadership to clients and colleagues on leading practices, standards, and trends 
  • Lead and grow large and high-potential client relationships and proactively plan client development activities
  • Help organizations identify, frame, and solve sustainable performance risks and opportunities, create value, maximize impact and business performance 
  • Take the lead in developing successful proposals for innovative and/or large and complex scopes of work that deliver sustainable performance
  • Channel market and client insights to the science, product and engineering teams to inform the development of new product capabilities in Anthesis RouteZero
