Raytheon is seeking a high-performing HR professional to fill an HR Partner role in supporting the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) strategic business unit (SBU) specifically the Global Patriot and LTAMDS sub strategic business units (SSBU). In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the LADS HR team and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission. This role will have responsibility for providing support to both domestic and international program areas within specific areas of the sub-strategic business unit (sSBU).
The HR Partner will collaborate with the business on topics including performance management, talent development and acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders and HR Partners across the business, this position will provide support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, annual compensation planning and employee engagement. The ability to execute cross SBU project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role.
Job location is Andover, MA and this is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
- Effectively partner with client groups in a complex matrix and fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and engaging appropriate stakeholders.
- Ability to influence others, driving the right solution for all.
- Model Employee Advocacy and serve as a trusted advisor to all levels of leaders and employees
- Support critical HR processes, including compensation, talent development, performance management and talent acquisition in partnership with leaders and HR partners within the organization
- Drive Talent Management strategies and action plans to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development both within the respective client group and working across the SBU
- Collaborate amongst other HR organizations such as Employee Relations (ER), Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Total Rewards, Talent Development (TD) and other HR Partners to achieve business and talent objectives with the Land and Air Defense SBU
- Model consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions
- Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, and employee communications
- Investigate and resolve Employee Relations issues and complaints and Ethics-related case investigations
- Focus on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture
- Travel 10-20%
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience in a business partner or generalist role

- Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships in influencing business results and how to link HR initiatives to business objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and have demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions
- Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
- Experience supporting a large-scale, matrix organization of 6,500+ employees as an HRBP
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and partnering with Employee Relations/Labor Relations when necessary
