Sr. Accountant
As a Senior Accountant on our Accounting Center of Excellence team, you will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Senior and Staff Accounting Teams. You will be responsible for accounting close processes, monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Your job responsibilities include but are not limited to; reviewing and approving journal entries accurately and timely for the monthly accounting close cycle; reviewing and approving properly supported account reconciliations; summarizing and interpreting accounting results, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and ensuring consistent application and compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and local statutory requirements.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

Your Challenge
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy
Ownership of Approver tasks for the assigned functional accounting areas, including accurate and timely review and approval of journal entries and relevant supporting documentation.
Ownership of Approver tasks for balance sheet account reconciliations, including accurate and timely review for proper support, and approval, as well as investigation and resolution of reconciling differences in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.
Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
What You Bring
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Power Platform is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated, detail oriented, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
4-6 years relevant accounting experience required
Knowledge of and experience in functional accounting areas such as fixed assets, prepaids, intercompany, payroll, taxes, leases, etc.
Working knowledge of US GAAP.
OneStream Software, and multiple currency exposure is a plus.
