What You Own:

• Frontend Management: Take charge of our existing application, ensuring its robustness and scalability. This includes apps developed in React Native using TypeScript for both iOS and Android platforms.  
• Backend Management: Oversee and advance our backend architecture within the AWS ecosystem, primarily using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.  
• Feature Development and Integration: Spearhead the development of new features for our cross-platform applications, with a focus on seamless integration with health sensors and data platforms like Apple Health and Google Fit.  
• Database Architecture: Design and implement a multifaceted database system to manage and leverage device data, customer information, and marketing insights effectively.  
• Cross-functional collaboration: Engage with various teams, including data science, systems engineering, and marketing, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  
• Technology Innovation and Strategy: Identify and adopt emerging technologies and platforms, aligning them with our product roadmap and strategic goals. 

What You Bring:

• Academic Background:  A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or relative years of experience.  


• Professional Experience:  At least 5 years of experience in a lead role within full-stack development.  


• Technical Expertise:  
• Profound knowledge in frontend app development using ReactNative, JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience on the backend using elixir. 
• Strong understanding of state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Recoil, or Zustand, etc. 
• Experience with mobile development frameworks like Expo 
• Strong experience in backend development, including proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.  
• Solid understanding of frontend web technologies like HTML, CSS, and React.  
• Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, SES, ELB, CloudWatch).  
• Competence in database design, data handling, and management.  
• Software Development Best Practices: Familiarity with GitHub, contemporary software development workflows, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions. 
• Independent Leadership: Ability to lead projects independently, focusing on results and meeting deadlines.  

Additional Skills:

• Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device communication.  
• Data analytics expertise.  
• Experience with Power BI is a plus. 
• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL. 
• Experience with Microservices and Serverless framework (nice to have).
