Financial Manager

Seeking a strong contributing Accounting/Finance member of the OneStream business team that will actively work to obtain a broad knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Reporting and Controllership (R&C) processes to provide OneStream support for the businesses. This role will function under the Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to enhance the delivery of planning, budgeting, and forecasting for all global business units. This position will support Enterprise Reporting and Controls teams with month-end close support utilizing the OneStream application. The incumbent will actively work with the all Finance teams to seek system and process enhancement opportunities and lead implementation initiatives from end to end (requirements gathering, testing, go-live, etc). The incumbent will manage a team of financial analysts.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Serve as point of contact for communication to operating division power-users for all OneStream development and use.
   1. Work with end-users to troubleshoot issues.
   2. Aid in gathering business requirements for all production enhancements
   3. Aid in gathering business requirements for all future OneStream projects
   4. Coordinate when enhancements move into production ensuring system stability throughout the year
2. Provide clear and constant communication between the OneStream group (Finance & IT) to articulate what changes will be happening via OneStream and Data Relationship Management (DRM) monthly
3. Support OneStream/EPM Projects & Production
   1. Liaison between Business Segments and IT Developers
   2. Create/adjust webforms and reports
   3. Inbound/Outbound data interfaces
   4. System testing
   5. Data integrity
4. Lead testing efforts for both Production support and future OneStream projects
   1. Create and execute test scripts
   2. Verify data using data sheets
   3. Utilize Jira to manage testing and defects
   4. Coordinate System Performance Testing
5. Work with the various business teams to help gather and document system requirements for various business processes
6. Assist with developing and conducting end user training and change management material

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION: 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field.

Preferred: 

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• 5-7 years of Finance/ Accounting Experience
• Comfortable with financial systems and working with IT
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills to handle multiple priorities and projects 
• Experience working on a project, or involved in a project/ team environment
• Must be a team player who can identify opportunities and work across functional areas to provide solutions and recommendations for improvement
• Proven ability to build relationships

Preferred:

• ERP or EPM system experience
• Project leadership experience
• FP&A / R&C experience

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Ability to maintain confidential information 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Data understanding, modeling, and analysis
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

Preferred:

• Experience working with OneStream, EPM, Oracle GL, or other financial systems
• Exposure to technical programming languages (SQL, Python, Java, R, C++, etc)
