The Raytheon team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support multiple programs for the Battle Management Software (BMS) Department.  The BMS Software mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers’ wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year.
• Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada
• Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl)

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience on XBR, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP or other current missile defense programs
• Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps
• Potential to travel to customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
• Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
• Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible
• Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Redhat and Linux Operating Systems

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
