Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Officer Commercial in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting regular patrols, supporting a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the premises and perimeter, to observe and report any unusual activities or conditions.
• Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence at the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or delivery procedures as required by the location's policies.
• Maintain communication with Allied Universal management, site staff, and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
