Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, WA is looking for a customer service oriented individual to join our Watership Primary Care clinic to join our team as a Care Team Specialist I.

The role of a Care Team Specialist I is both dynamic and engaging within healthcare and as a Care Team Specialist I, you will play an important role in our patient experience! You will serve as an important liaison between the medical care team and the patients and have important impacts throughout the medical care continuum. You will provide excellent customer service to diverse individuals coming to the clinic by greeting and registering arriving patients, gathering essential information, scheduling appointments, collecting insurance and co-pay information, and maintaining waiting room areas.

An ideal candidate will have successful customer service experience and a customer service mindset. They will have strong communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a skill for helping others. The ability to multitask and handle patient inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism is a must. if you are a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply! Schedule: 1.0 FTE, 40hr/week; Day Shift; No weekends! Each month the front office staff rotate who opens, closes and is mid shift.

What you'll need:

• High School degree or equivalent required
• One year of related experience in a clinical or medical office or other related experience required
• Candidates with customer service experience are encouraged to apply!
• Experience or education providing basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
