The Work You Will Do:

Highway Maintenance Technician I, District Five, District Maintenance, DeLand Maintenance

 

This position will use a variety of hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to maintain bridges and roadways. Preforms Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Uses a variety of hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to maintain bridges and roadways. Performs independent manual labor incidental to job assignments at an intermediate level of complexity with minimal supervision. Operates a motor vehicle to travel to and from work sites.

 

Perform pre-trip inspection/minor maintenance on vehicles/equipment. Cleans and washes equipment.

 

Preforms rough carpentry, masonry, painting and/or assist in the assembly and erection of highway signs.

 

Preforms Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic)
