Capital Management Centralized Support Lead

Equitable needs a highly skilled and motivated leader for our dynamic accounting team as the Lead for a Capital Management Centralized Support team. This professional will play a critical role in supporting large-scale external transactions, internal reinsurance, and capital-intensive insurance product launches. Role includes supporting finance management, transaction execution, and workstream leads. The responsibilities include operationalizing financial requirements, implementation of IT platforms and expanding current capabilities with existing IT systems, to support ongoing business activities. Additional support needed may include developing analytic reports, reinsurance validations, statutory and US GAAP trending, and triage of ad hoc areas needing issue resolution as we execute and perform financial close requirements.

The total targeted compensation range for this position is $213,000 - $300,000. Total compensation varies based on skills, experience, geographical location and other factors.

Required Qualifications:
M&A - Transaction Execution: Supported the M&A lifecycle including Day 1 transaction accounting, buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, quality of earnings analyses, acquisition controls design, management analytics/insights.
Technical Accounting Subject Matter Expertise: Provide specialized guidance on complex accounting considerations, improving audit quality and resolving accounting issues.
Finance Transformation and Operating Model Optimization: Review and redesign operational accounting functions and financial reporting operating models. Recommending enhancements in processes, technology, and governance to optimize performance.

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Prepare and review financial statement disclosure and supporting schedules
