Job Description
One of our premier clients is in need of a Sr. Project Manager with experience in Airline Operations, specifically in working with Crew Workforce Planning and Crew Planning Modules. The ideal candidate will also have excellent Change Management expertise.
Location: Denver, CO - Onsite as needed
W2 Compensation Range: This role will compensate between $100/HR and $120/HR depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications.
Project Length: 6 Months Plus
Responsibilities:
- Manage workstreams to build the technology, drive changes to crew behavior
- Collaborate with workstream leads and additional project managers supporting various workstreams
- Drive execution and governance activities to ensure a successful project launch and rapid adoption of the new Crew Planning Modules
- Partner closely with subject matter experts and operationally focused teams to understand and improve operational reliability
- Follow the PMO’s methodology and leverage the associated tools and template.
- Create and manage the following deliverables: Project Workplans, Project Risks and Issues Log, Weekly Status Report / Dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields.
- 10+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity within a PMO
- Must have experience in Airline Operations, specifically in working with Crew Workforce Planning and Crew Planning Modules, and/or an intimate knowledge of Crew Planning processes and workflows
- Executive facing experience and ability to build relationships is required
- PMP Certification a plus but not required.
- Experience in both waterfall and agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of project management software and collaboration tools, such as MS Project and SharePoint.
- Strong collaboration, facilitation, influencing skills with the ability to build consensus
- Demonstrated experience instituting & adapting project management principles tools and disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal skills – written and oral; ability to lead
- Change management experience desirable
- Ability to be organized and multi-task; to establish and follow priorities
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
