Air Dominance & Strike - Senior Security Engineer

The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Division is one of Anduril’s fastest growing divisions whose goal is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation software enabled collaborative air combat weapons. Our division develops, builds, and tests collaborative combat aircraft, missiles, and the software that powers these collaborative robots.

AD&S is looking for security software engineer to ensure that autonomy software deployed on 100s to 1000s of assets is robust against cyber threats and protective of critical mission data. This is a role with wide berth that will have the latitude to design, build, and implement cutting edge security systems and fielded production software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and manage tools for secure secrets management and remote access to production environments and assets
• Build log aggregation pipelines for Anduril applications and security auditing solutions
• Own the software security design, plan, and implementation for data, communications, and defensive security controls
• Work in software design teams to ensure application software is implemented in a secure manner within an overall holistic security approach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (C++, Python, Rust, Go)
• Ability to develop and maintain systems in cloud environments and familiarity with deploying code through CI/CD pipelines
• Experience anti-tamper
• Knowledge of current security trends, threats and mitigations
• Previous experience working with Product Security teams and building systems to support Information Security objectives
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions and Multi Level Security
• Experience building high volume log ingestion and storage pipelines
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling

Location: Can sit in either Costa Mesa, CA or Washington D.C. or Seattle,WA 

US Salary Range$168,000—$252,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
