Your Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our St. Louis raw material logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. This optimization will include the development and implementation of updated supply chain designs, models, & processes utlizing SAP.  They will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance our supply chain performance and deliver operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer needs.
  4. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.
  5. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, streamline operations, and improve overall performance.
  7. Establish strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  8. Utilize data and analytics to track key supply chain metrics, analyze performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience (X years) in a supply chain management role, with a track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
