Job Description
In the eBike Systems business unit, we develop innovative products and services that make eBiking even more fascinating - from highly efficient drive systems over the first series-produced ABS for pedelecs to smart connectivity solutions. For sustainable mobility that's fun.
- As Senior Frontend Developer, you will be a part of the future of biking and help in creating end-to-end solutions for eBikes. It's your task to bring in your ideas to define the best practices and apply them to the daily work of the team.
- Also, you take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of your applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that cyclists love.
- It's your responsibility to collaborate with teams of developers, designers, researchers, and marketing experts who focus on building, scaling, and operating high-class digital services in the context of biking.
- Last but not least, you will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development and testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university studies (bachelor's degree/master's degree/diploma) in Computer science, software development, business informatics or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: 5 years of experience as a frontend/full-stack developer or similar; Excellent experience as developer with JavaScript/Typescript, HTML & CSS, React or similar frameworks (Vue.js, Svelte...); Experience with Go or other backend languages and setting up solutions as WebServices/Microservices; Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you are curious and love to learn new development technologies and practices, even for personal projects because you don't know how it could be otherwise; you feel at home in an agile culture; a passion for biking is a plus; you are self-motivated, self-organized, and a team player; you work with agile methods and have out-of-the-box thinking; setting up your local environment is within your comfort zone
- Languages: Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
