This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.

How You Will Make an Impact

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our security team and gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and vulnerability management. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while developing technical skills in security frameworks, policy updates, and threat management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Support – Assist in maintaining and updating cybersecurity documentation related to frameworks, internal/external audits, and compliance reports.
• Compliance Assistance – Help ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
• Policy Updates – Review existing cybersecurity policies and recommend necessary updates to managers.
• Vulnerability Management – Perform security updates on PCs and assist with vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Security Optimization – Analyze and fine-tune alerts for various cybersecurity tools to enhance efficiency and reduce false positives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, security tools, and risk mitigation strategies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to document and present findings effectively.
