Spacecraft Systems Engineer

Based in Irvine, CA, we are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Systems Engineer with expertise in mission management and design coordination for our video processing components flying on upcoming missions. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, track, and establish processes for the management of spacecraft
• Manage and coordinate design reviews throughout its development lifecycle
• Create and update comprehensive engineering documentation for various spacecraft vehiclesProvide support to facilitate completion of projects and architectural designs
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between engineering and business teams, ensuring alignment of project goals and objectives
• Develop appropriate risk mitigation plans to retire risks

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace engineering discipline
• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and operations with a strong understanding of systems engineering principles

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• General knowledge of spacecraft subsystems.
• Ability to lead a team of engineering professionals in solving challenging problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good presentations skills
• Broad technical understanding of space market segments and different space missions (such as communications, imagery, space logistics, etc.)
• Experience at early stage space startups
