The Role at a Glance
The Social & Media Listening Specialist will collaborate with content and marketing individuals across the enterprise. They will work closely with internal and agency partners to ensure a timely and effective distribution of insights and provide recommendations based on external market research and data analysis.
What you'll be doing
Own social/media listening, developing queries, building dashboards, and conducting research to inform media intelligence reports on various topics; organize research into easily digested materials like spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and memos; can cogently summarize findings and identify opportunities.
Leverage standard features within social listening platforms (i.e., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Meltwater), and social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) for social and media intelligence, and relationship building.
Monitor and analyzes standard consumer, competitor and industry social and media coverage to detect emerging trends and help insert Lincoln’s voice into the conversation in a conversational way.
Identifies and shares learnings with peers and leaders across enterprise to inform content development, product marketing, communications, and advertising.
Oversees standard brand-level community management and collaborate with social media expert, quickly and efficiently responding to/engaging with relevant social media chatter in an engaging way.
Collaborates with claims, complaints, and customer care teams to ensure proper oversight of community management dashboards.
Leverages listening learnings to support development of SEM buy(s); share learnings with content writers, product marketing, comms and web team to increase organic search effectiveness.
Manages timelines via project management software and status documents, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
What we’re looking for
Must-Haves
2 - 3+ Years experience in social media listening experience with an advertising, PR or social agency or corporate marketing/communications department.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience with social media listening platform(s) (i.e., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Meltwater, etc.)
Experience writing SQL/Boolean queries using social listening tools.
Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Demonstrates advanced relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues) and external clients.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Range: $53,500 - $92,500
