Our unique technology- and systems-driven approach has positioned us as a leading provider of sustainable civil construction services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.</p> <p>The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for leading and delivering large-scale heavy civil and public infrastructure projects from start to finish. This role oversees multiple active projects, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contract requirements, public agency standards, and company expectations.</p> <p>The SPM plays a key leadership role in driving project performance, managing client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across all phases of construction.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><em>Disclaimer:</em></strong><em> The following description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.</em></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide oversight of multiple heavy civil construction projects including roadway, utilities, stormwater, grading, and site development.</li> <li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.</li> <li>Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation efforts.</li> <li>Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and challenges.</li> <li>Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes.</li> <li>Ensure accurate billing</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve project profitability.</li> <li>Interpret and manage contracts, plans, specifications, and public agency requirements.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, municipalities, and public agencies.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat work and future opportunities.</li> <li>Participate in progress meetings, presentations, and communications.</li> <li>Use PM Software (InEight)
