We are currently looking for an ambitious Software QA Engineer II to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care.
As a Software QA Engineer II you will be responsible for:
- Develop, document, and execute test cases for application and embedded software.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand requirements.
- Analyze test results, provide feedback to engineering teams, and suggest improvements to enhance software performance and reliability.

- Experience in testing safety-critical software systems preferred (e.g., automotive, medical devices).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA) and practices for medical software development (IEC 62304) preferred.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on application software and hardware systems.
- Familiar understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, and UART.
- Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for automation testing.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

The annual base pay for this position is:
Min $83,100 - Max $124,600Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
