About the Position:
Under the direction of the Regional and/or Regional Deputy Director, the Regional Support Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring quality and operational excellence for the programs within their assigned region(s). Collaborates and works closely with program leadership and support departments to provide oversight of administrative and financial systems, trainings, quality of services, and staff engagement.
Primary duties include: assisting in supervision and quality assurance of the region's programs, project management and systems workflows, being a Super User for technological systems, assist in training new and existing Supervisors, organizing the administrative training responsibilities, coordinating regional trainers, and supporting and reporting to the Regional Director.
The position requires supervisory skills and is best suited for a highly organized person who is capable of multitasking. The role requires direct responsibility for a diverse array of tasks within multiple programs and is a very people-focused position.

Key responsibilities
- Serving as the liaison with all support departments, assists as needed
- Train new residential and day Supervisors in systems
- May be involved in planning special events for staff and people we support Provides support in Residential and Day programs when there is no Supervisor, a new Supervisor, or lack of leadership in the program
- Responsible for training on multiple systems
- Ability to conduct investigations throughout the region
- Acts as a Super User for digital/technological systems
- Alerts and coordinates the implementation of training updates
- Serves as a support to all trainers in the region, especially regarding preparation, scheduling, and collecting feedback to ensure YAI provides the highest quality of training to staff
- Region's representation for committees
- Works with individuals and teams
- Manage the organization's systems in a region
- Provides program assessments to the Regional Director and Deputy Director
- Ensures consistency of program operations within YAI's policies and procedures
- Participates in agency projects/committees
- Attends and presents at regional Supervisor and Coordinator meetings
- Communicating priorities for the programs to staff
- In collaboration with the Human Resources department, supports with recruitment and engagement efforts including participation in group interviews, attending hiring events, and advertising YAI at college networking events
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and practices
- Assists supervisors, directors, and regional leadership with continually identifying opportunities; proposes solution-based approaches to enhancing the overall quality and well-being of their assigned region's operations
Education and Experience
- BA/BS required
- Prior supervisory and training experience within the field of I/DD preferred
- Preferred experience in project management; proven ability to manage projects to
