Senior Technical Program Manager- Server Arch

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our TikTok Server Arch PMO team based in San Jose. In partnership with TikTok and Value Chain leadership, the PMO team helps ensure that TikTok’s portfolio, program, and project delivery are predictable, measurable, and optimized.

PMOs serve as the bridge between PM and R&D when needed, driving technical projects from ideation to launch and integrating them into the overall TikTok product ecosystem. The objective is to foster more reliable delivery.



Responsibilities：

- Lead project management and cross-functional collaboration for product planning and launch, scrum delivery, resource planning, and create processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficiently for the Server Arch team.

- Lead projects related to data center cost optimization, data center system construction, and stability optimization.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, streamline project management methodologies, and drive standardization across projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and internal partners (Systems, Infrastructure, Video Architecture, Data Platform, AML, Recommendation) to ensure clear communication, alignment, and support for the project objectives.

- Communicate project and scrum status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership. Ensure project and related delivery documents are complete, accurate, and available for review by all parts of the organization.

- Monitor the efficiency of product and tech team delivery with key metrics and provide deep insights regarding delivery efficiency, along with practical suggestions to enhance it.

- Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results when tackling complex problems.
