About the role

Your responsibilities
Manage customer incidents and service requests submitted through the support platform.
Diagnose issues across Linux environments, bare-metal servers, cloud instances, storage, and networking.
Review logs, system metrics, and monitoring alerts using command-line and remote-access tools.
Resolve problems affecting server availability, performance, configuration, and customer access.
Arrange hardware inspections or component replacements with data-centre personnel.
Refer advanced cases to specialized teams with all relevant diagnostic information.
Provide customers with timely updates and understandable technical explanations.
Record solutions, improve support documentation, and work closely with infrastructure teams.

Required skills and experience
A minimum of two years in Linux support, system administration, hosting operations, NOC, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or similar Linux systems.
Strong terminal skills covering processes, services, users, permissions, packages, logs, and file systems.
Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, DNS, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewall basics.
General understanding of server components, disks, RAID configurations, and hardware monitoring.
Familiarity with support-ticket, infrastructure-monitoring, logging, or remote-management solutions.
Independent troubleshooting skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle several cases at once.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher for customer correspondence and technical communication.
