Hybrid/Remote Full Stack Developer with JavaScript and Node.JS - Active TS/SCI

Hybrid/Remote Full Stack Developer with JavaScript/ Node.JS with only 1 day per week in office!

Active DOD TS Clearance required with SCI eligibility. We will provide the SCI clearance upgrade immediately.

This is a collaborative group of Leading Path internal employees looking for one more engineer to join the team! Location is Reston, VA, and the work is hybrid/remote with 1 day onsite per week, 4 days remote.

The Developer will work within an Agile team, with 3 week sprints and sprint demos. Developers are assigned tickets to complete within the sprint. Recommend and implement solutions in a JavaScript, Node.JS, React.JS and NoSQL environment.

The team will work in a Gitlab based CI/CD environment, and also look to extend the current functionality with AI/ML use cases.

Problem solving skills and industry knowledge within the Node.JS/JavaScript/React.JS space are paramount to the candidate’s success. The successful candidate should be open to new challenges, with this and other Leading Path clients. The position is for a full-time employee.

Requirements

Requirements (Must Have):

Full Stack developer with:

• Experience with JavaScript Web Frameworks (such as ReactJS/Vue)
• Experience with NodeJS/express
• Understanding of Unit Test infrastructures and approaches, i.e., jest
• Experience integration ReactJS components with REST interfaces
• BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering degree

Requirements (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Big Data Technologies, such as Hadoop or Apache NiFi
• Experience with ReactJS
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with data enrichment and data cleansing approaches
• Experience with Amazon AWS [RDS, EC2]
