This position will be responsible for the governance and oversight of risk and controls for the enterprise-wide Cybersecurity Program, including the implementation of governance frameworks, risk methodologies, and compliance assessments and provides consultation on Cybersecurity risk areas to the business.

The successful candidate creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization, as well as coordinates issue remediation efforts and collaborates with all IT and Business lines and translates technical risks into business terms and develops and coaches' teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction over the management and response of all Cybersecurity audit findings, self-identified findings, control deficiencies and emerging risks.

• Provide oversight on the strategic direction and priority for Information Security program initiatives with a focus on sustainable processes and controls, including self-testing and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.

• Identifies Cybersecurity impacts and risk considerations.

• Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external auditors/regulators to manage Cybersecurity risk management efforts and program enhancements that support the overall enterprise-wide mission.

• Manages regulatory and audit findings and remediation of threat and risk issues.

• Lead the review of all evidence supporting Cybersecurity closure packages for completeness and accuracy and to ensure the evidence provided addresses the root cause of the issue under remediation

• Leads the development of data analytics, metrics, reporting, and statistical analyses.

• Manages risk effectively by translating regulatory requirements and business needs to develop security controls.

• Recommend remediation strategies to mitigate risk and close gaps.

• Provides assurance, guidance, and direction in the formalization of the Cybersecurity framework.

• Demonstrate ability to recruit, develop, retain, recognize, and promote high performing talent while also addressing low performing individuals.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields

• 6+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology, engineering, risk, compliance or relevant discipline; desired experience in credit card, financial and/or banking industry (or similarly regulated industry)

• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology, engineering, risk, compliance or relevant discipline; desired experience in credit card, financial and/or banking industry (or similarly regulated industry)

Preferred Qualifications
