Softball, Head Coach

POSITION:    Head Softball Coach

LOCATION:    TCU High School

STARTING DATE:               2026-2027 school year

SALARY:    Per TCU EA master agreement

REPORTS TO:Activities Director

DATE OF POSTING:    June 15, 2026

 QUALIFICATIONS:    

1. Valid Minnesota coaching certification or meets acceptable criteria for non-licensed coach.

2. Prefer employment as a teacher in Tri-City United School District.

3. Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

4. Prefer previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.

5. The Head Coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.

6. Effective interpersonal interactions and communication skills as applied to interaction with

both youth and adults.

7. Skilled in team building, decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

8. Experience with �Why We Play' and "Positive Coaching Alliance" seminar/coaches training preferred.
