We have an excellent opportunity for a Sr Operation Associate! The Sr. Operations Associate drives cross-departmental collaboration, educates advisors on performance methodologies, consults on custom reporting, and resolves reporting issues. Key duties include building templates, managing batch reports, and ensuring high-quality output. The role also involves maintaining operational data, improving processes, and applying firm policies across portfolio accounting and web platforms. Attention to detail is essential.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Reporting Support

• Gain a complete knowledge of our Reporting and Query capabilities as it pertains to other departments; which include, but not limited to, composites, trading, transactions, billing, and web based platform reporting

• Educates advisors on performance calculations in comparison to other methods used in the industry

• Partner with advisors and internal conversion teams to build and maintain custom reporting templates and queries

• Consult with advisor offices to recommend existing reports/queries or create customized reports/queries.

• Assist with report batch runs, review sample reports to ensure quality

• Perform processes and audits that ensures the quality of data maintained in the system to facilitate complete and accurate reporting

• Troubleshoot reporting/query issues; collaborate with other departments to respond to inquiries; ensure accuracy of data on all reports/queries ensuring compliance with all regulations

Internal Department and Advisor Team Support

• Provide internal “customer” support, quickly responding to a high volume of time sensitive questions and requests from multiple internal teams.

• Provide assistance and guidance for projects affecting cost basis, tax reporting, performance, composites, Orion connect, trading, billing, and reporting

• Cross-train in support of other areas of Operations as needed

Education/Qualifications

• High School degree (or equivalent) required; post high school degree preferred

• 2+ years of experience working at a financial services firm handling data integrity and performance projects in operations preferred

• Knowledge and understanding of performance reporting with regards to Time Weighted Return, Dollar Weighted Return and how transaction data will impact reporting of these performance methods is preferred

• Comfortable working with portfolio accounting/management and CRM systems

• Orion Advisor Technology and/or Salesforce experience is preferred

• Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel is required

• Strong Verbal and written communication

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Solid analytical skills; attention to detail

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Associate level is $58,300.00 to $81,600.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
