We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Consultant Relations to lead our efforts in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with healthcare benefit brokers and consultants. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the healthcare benefits industry, exceptional relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the benefits consulting landscape. This role will lead a team of consultant relations professionals and will drive initiatives to enhance our market presence and strengthen our partnerships.

In this role, you will act as a vital feedback loop and liaison between the consultant community and Maven, ensuring that insights and feedback from our partners directly inform our strategies and initiatives. This position requires close collaboration with our Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams to align partnership efforts with overall business goals. The VP will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, addressing challenges, and enhancing the value we provide to our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    • Develop and cultivate relationships with key healthcare practice and consultant leaders across national and regional consulting firms.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to enhance the organization's market reach and influence.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partnership efforts with business objectives and goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, mentor and develop a team of consultant relation professionals
    • Foster a high performance culture, ensuring team members have the necessary skills, resources and support to succeed
    • Set clear goals, expectations and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback
  • Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all consultant relations.
    • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners and develop new relationships to expand our network.
    • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and training sessions with partners to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Market Insights and Analysis:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
    • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales tactics.
    • Monitor partner performance and develop strategies to optimize collaboration and outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and effective partnership initiatives.
