About the role
Working under the direction of the attending physician and the Practice Manager, the staff registered nurse participates as a team member in the implementation and follow through of patient care activities.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in office-based practice
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth development
- Is able to assess and interpret data reflective of the patient’s status
- Provides care as outlined in standards, policies and procedures
- Command of verbal and written English
- Demonstrated clinical competence
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- 1 to 3 years medical-surgical nursing
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate from accredited school of nursing required
License/Certification:
- Current MA license
- BLS certified
