Clinical Pharmacist - Centralized Renewal Service

The Clinical Pharmacist - Centralized Renewal Service is a clinical position that assists in all aspects of processing prescription refill requests on behalf of Providence Medical Group providers. The pharmacist will function in accordance with all state and federal rules, regulations, statutes, and laws. Using established guidelines and protocols, the pharmacist facilitates authorization of medication refills for clinic patients to their preferred pharmacy.  The pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, technicians, clinical pharmacy department programs and all members of the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy. The pharmacist will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient and provider satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians, and pharmacies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Or
• PharmD      
• Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License 
• 3 years Pharmacist experience in primary care (or related area) involving direct, collaborative patient care or equivalent residency program.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
