Medical Interpreter

Location: Berks Community Health CenterPosition: Medical Interpreter (HR/FT)
Summary: Serve as a medical interpreter for providers and patients and, if needed, staff. Relays medical information between speakers of two different languages in compliance with all BCHC policies and procedures, particularly relating to patient confidentiality and informed consent. The Medical Interpreter actively supports BCHC in its efforts to maintain designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). Participates actively in BCHC’s mission to provide exceptional patient-centered primary and preventive healthcare for all residents of Berks County, regardless of patient status.Please note this position is posted on behalf of our partner practices.
