Business Analyst (Team Lead)

TechOp Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst Team Lead to join our team! The Business Analyst Team Lead will manage a team of IT Business Analysts on a large IT modernization project. The team is responsible for developing and managing requirements for enhancements to a portfolio of Immigration-related IT systems. You’ll interact with users in the field, ICE’s CIO developers, and government IT Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery for a team of 5-10 IT Business Analysts
• Executive and status reporting
• Strategic planning
• Coordinating the resolution of technical problems with subject matter experts
• Workload planning among team members and coordination with client leads

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with ICE or other Immigration-related IT systems is strongly preferred
• Strong Agile and PM skills
• Strong experience with User Acceptance Testing – translating functional user requirements into thorough test scripts
• Experience with complex and interconnected systems
• Experience turning policy or other operational changes into technical system requirements
• Experience managing the communication of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leading a project through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion and bringing perspective while understanding the IT ecosystem
• Experience setting up teams for successful delivery by removing obstacles (or blockers to progress), constantly helping the team to become more self-organizing
• Experience defining project needs and feeding these into the portfolio/program process to enable resources to be appropriately allocated
• Working knowledge of release management
• Strong time management skills
