As a Senior Consultant, Advisory Services, you will lead or assigned to a team responsible for optimization, transformation or process improvements across the revenue cycle; with a focus on enhanced implementation of Savista technologies.  In this role, you will be responsible for providing detailed assessments of revenue cycle practices, developing management plans to migrate our clients to a Best Practice environment, and implementing the recommended changes identified in these management plans.  In this role, you will draw heavily upon all of the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective strategy consulting.  As a Senior Consultant you much organize your own tasks and schedules to carry out substantial business analyses and deliver high quality, client ready work. 

This role is PRN an estimated 10 hrs per week

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop a high level of expertise in revenue cycle operations and technical processes

  • Support data requests for full engagement

  • Analyze complex financial and operational data to uncover performance improvement opportunities

  • Present data and recommendations to client work team and facilitate basic meetings

  • Execute implementation of identified net benefit opportunity initiatives, including qualitative and quantitative tasks

  • Lead or support team on projects to prioritize work tasks, ensure project milestones and deadlines are met

  • Ensure all work products meet quality standards

  • Contribute to internal practice development and methodology

  • Contribute to overall development and education of supporting staff

  • Initiate and maintain client relationships

  • Meet or exceed utilization target

  • Collaborates with internal and external teams easily and effectively

  • Proactively identifies areas of opportunity for additional Savista solutions on engagements

  • Supports Savista Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to Savista business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with Savista Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or Savista Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in a revenue cycle consulting role, working directly with acute care hospital facilities or 3+ years of experience as a revenue cycle operations leader, working directly for an acute care hospital facility

  • Significant subject matter expertise in transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize realized revenue, minimize denials and accelerate cash flow

  • Experience gathering data, documenting the current state process, developing a project roadmap for a future state plan and implementing new processes, policies and technology in collaboration with cross functional teams

  • Understanding of market/financial analysis in context to healthcare

  • Ability to train and coach consultants to develop and broaden their skill sets

  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products, including at least intermediate use of MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Verbal and written communication skills with ability to facilitate process change

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and personalities in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output

  • Solid interpersonal skills that translate into building relationship with colleagues and clients

  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing in responsibilities

  • Travel: Willing
