MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in civil, construction, mechanical or architectural engineering or architecture and four (4) years of experience in the field of commercial building construction, two (2) years of which must have been as a supervisor or administrator of construction projects; or
 

A master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the areas described above and three (3) years of experience in the field of commercial building construction, two (2) years of which must have been as a supervisor or administrator of commercial construction projects. 
 

Experience in the field of building construction can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

JOB DUTIES:
 

Prepare construction bid packages, create scope of work, and administer bid/construction process for delegated projects.  Prepare and negotiate construction contracts. Develop and maintain detailed construction documents, cost accounting system and construction progress scheduling system. Develop criteria for the approval or acceptance of facilities and/or the in-progress phases of facility construction. Review requests for payment from contractors to ensure compliance with contract provisions and purchasing policies and
