What We’re Looking For:

 

The Lead BCR Advisor (A+ Program Compliance Manager) is responsible for overseeing compliance of licensed Approved Providers who provide support to IBOs in accordance with the Accreditation Plus (A+) Program under the Accreditation Plus Approved Provider Agreement (Agreement), including assessing, monitoring, and enforcing compliance with Program Standards. The Manager, with oversight and input from Corporate Counsel, interprets and applies Program Standards, develops, implements and manages Program processes and procedures, and documents Amway’s enforcement of Program Standards and related provisions of the Accreditation Plus Approved Provider Agreement between Amway and third-party training providers.

 

You will be responsible for managing contract compliance, using formal and informal processes. This will require you to: (a) manage annual processes related to submission and compliance with Approved Provider business plans; (b) initiate and manage periodic audits of Program compliance; (c) coordinate with BSM administration around Program requirements related to submission, review and authorization of Approved Provider created training and support materials; (d) coordinate with BCR with respect to compliance and investigations that involve IBOs; (e) identify the need for action and promptly address it by coordinating with Legal and drafting high-quality formal legal correspondence including breach of contract letters, contract amendments, and specific legal correspondence to address unique situations; (f) communicate with business managers of Approved Providers and with senior IBO Leaders who are owners/operators of Approved Providers.

 

You will serve as the compliance point of contract for all APs in North America. You will establish and build relationships with APs and high-level IBO leaders and work closely with them to make continuous improvements to the A+ program by ensuring consistent application of Program Standards and compliance with A+ Program policies and processes. You will work closely with Legal, BCR, and BSM Administration in matters related to enforcement of the Agreement and associated policies. You will be expected to deliver difficult messages with professionalism and diplomacy. This role requires you to “wear two hats” - (1) enforcing strict compliance and protecting Amway from legal risk while (2) maintaining strong, positive relationships with all APs by demonstrating empathy and taking the time to truly understand the unique challenges facing their businesses.

 

You will develop expertise and serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of A+ program compliance, including the QAS Program Standards. You will provide training and education on the contractual requirements, standards, and policies to internal and external clients.

 

You will work on complex projects and tasks that require strong attention to detail and sustained focus for long periods of time. However, while completing these projects, you will also need to maintain awareness of the “bigger picture” and continually assess how the day-to-day tasks fit within long-term strategic business goals and departmental goals. You will always need to be thinking several steps ahead and taking actions that establish a solid legal foundation and pave the way for success in potential future legal action, should it become necessary.

 

This is a unique, challenging, complex, and rewarding role for a motivated, strategic leader with a contract management, legal, or compliance background. You will “own” all aspects of program compliance, such as review and approval of annual AP business plans, AP training requirements, AP insurance requirements, and AP compensation contracts with individual IBOs. You will be asked to use your experience and expertise to provide input into new requirements and you will have the opportunity to develop effective, efficient, digital-first methods to implement and enforce those new requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in contract management, legal, or compliance
• 8 years of experience working in this field 

 

Skills to be successful in the role:
