Team Summary
The North America VAS Commercial Operations team is tasked with leading a cohesive, globally consistent Sales and Commercial operations strategy and delivery model. We have six functional areas of focus which are,
Pipeline Management and forecasting of new sales, net revenue and performance metrics.
Strategic planning inclusive of goal setting and outlooks for pipeline and revenue, identification and quantification of risks and opportunities, and ad hoc projects to drive revenue growth and expansion of product adoption across the region.
Business Analysis with a focus on trends, data analytics, dashboards, and sales tools.
Business Planning will focus on sales process delivery and optimization, sales cadence governance, territory management, business operations, inclusive of risk and audit activities.
Sales Incentive Planning – partnering with the Sales Comp team on driving Sales behavior through incentive programs and quota performance.
Sales Enablement, training and adoptions of sales best practices.
What a Manager of VAS North America Sales and Commercial Operations does at Visa:
The Manager of VAS North America Sales and Commercial Operations will be responsible for leading the implementation of effective sales and commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expansion of our business model across the region. In addition, the role holder will develop and execute new, transformation projects to drive our Sales and Commercial Operations processes to achieve best in class sales execution. The position will work closely with regional Value-Added Services (VAS) other functional leaders to implement and coordinate systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
Support individual pipeline reviews & updates and VAS monthly AANR outlooks. Support quarterly and annual revenue and pipeline forecasting and goal creation with Sales Leadership and Finance Quota setting and working with comp team to align plans and quotas at individual level and support any queries. Partner with Sales Ops Support to simplify operations and drive consistency and efficiencies in the Sales process. Support on QBR/MBR preparation for various internal updates. Support collections effort in region to improve cashflow. Sales planning and territory management. Ad-hoc projects including analysis for revenue driving initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years of work experience, including significant experience in financial management and strategic sales operations planning in a B2B high-growth sales environment.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in Business/Finance or related business field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships in a complex, matrix organization, including collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product, Technology and Customer Service teams at different levels.
• Must be results-oriented, organized, able to handle multiple urgent tasks and must effectively deal with ambiguity.
• Strong working knowledge of CRM (MSFT Dynamics), MSFT Excel/Power Point and Tableau
• Solid understanding of the electronic pay
