JOB SUMMARY
The Sample Prep Associate is responsible for preparing samples for individual testing and maintaining machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Properly dries wet samples, stamps/cuts each sample to specifications.
Correctly weighs each sample and determines if it can be analyzed.
Catalogues all test samples.
Works efficiently and effectively to ensure all samples are prepped for analysis.
Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment as needed.
Works with Team Lead to ensure optimum workflow.
Assists and supports other departments areas as needed.
Maintains a safe and orderly work environment
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two (2) years of related job experience
Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks
Effective problem solving
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
PREFERRED
Mechanical vocational training or equivalent military training.

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USE
Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printer
