Job Description

The following position is posted for internal FHP Manufacturing applicants only:

1. Sheet Metal - Team Leader 2nd Shift

Work with Area Supervisor to coordinate the daily activities of the team.

Be proficient in all processes within the departmental area and able to act as trainer and mentor to new associates and associates undergoing cross-training.

Understand and use basic BPS principles on a daily basis to optimize processes and ensure on time delivery of components to assembly lines.

For Associates working in the component departments, tasks include but are not limited to:

Operation of equipment and machinery (CNC Punching and Bending, Water Jet Cutting, Spot Welding, TIG Welding, Fork Lifts, etc.) reading and interpreting drawings, using manual and power tools, using measuring devices, and material handling.

Qualifications

Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow directions, understand and execute safety and quality procedures.

Must be flexible to work in another departments when requested.

Must be able to work overtime when requested.

Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (10 - 15 people) 

Manufacturing experience in assembly and / or CNC machine operation preferred.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
